These tank alarms detect low liquid levels in tanks using a float switch to ensure that processes never run out of chemicals. When the float switch is activated, a loud buzzer sounds with a flashing LED, which can be silenced with the push button while the LED continues to flash. The alarm can be snoozed every 30 minutes until the level is corrected and will reset automatically when the level is corrected. Other modes can deactivate the snooze alarm to silence the buzzer until the next alarm condition or allow the alarm to be shut off until the next event (tank-fill mode). The alarms include a long-lasting lithium-ion battery for years of uninterruptible use and a low-battery alert. Adjusting the depth of the alarm is done by simply loosening the thumb knob and positioning the pipe to the desired depth by hand. The single-level alarms with a compression mount use a rubber gland to provide a watertight seal, so the adjustment will require a little more effort. The float switch is protected inside the pipe from physical damage, making it easy to store and transfer to another container. The float guard is removable to allow inspection of the float. Kynar® PVDF and stainless steel versions of the alarms, models up to 20' in pipe length, additional mounting options, and accessories, including an AC power cord, relay output, and wireless transmitter/receiver, are available; contact us for a quote.
