The stormwater sampler is a simple, plastic, disposable device that collects a full liter of first flush stormwater into a Nalgene™ sample bottle. A floating ball valve automatically closes the bottle when it is full, preventing sample dilution. When used with the mounting kit, the sampler can be securely positioned into a ditch, stream, or storm grate outfall. The mounting device can easily be positioned once, left in place, then loaded with a new disposable sampler each quarter.
