The hybrid plastic bottle protects the product inside, keeping it safe and sanitary, while the strong, protective outer shell provides stability and water-resistant protection. Interlocking outer tabs join the inner plastic and outer paper layers without glue, and the mechanical connection at the neck keeps the liner stable and prevents spinning. Separating the lining from the cardboard, rather than fusing them with adhesives, allows the bottles to be seamlessly and intuitively recycled. When ready to recycle, remove the tape at the top of the bottle, separate the side seam of the bottle by hand, then recycle the individual pieces into their respective streams after rinsing the plastic inner liner.
