Pesticides present a substantial danger to people and the environment when improperly stored. Pesticide safety cabinets allow the segregation of liquids stored at the worksite, eliminating the potential for drips and spills during transfer. Dissimilar pesticides stored separately prevent one from contaminating another or accidentally using the wrong chemical. The safety cabinets are specifically designed to house these types of chemicals and feature a sturdy double-wall, 18-gauge steel construction with 1-1/2" of air space, and dual flame-arresting vents. The three-point automatic latch with keyed lock prevents unauthorized access. Steel shelves fitted with corrosion-resistant polyethylene trays adjust on 3" (77mm) centers to accommodate various containers. Self-close door(s) shuts and latches automatically when a fusible link melts at 165°F (74ºC) under fire conditions. The unique concealed self-closing mechanism offers obstruction-free access to contents.
