These dissecting trays and accessory options offer everything needed for precise and efficient dissection in educational and professional laboratories. The dissecting trays have rounded corners and a rimmed design for easy cleaning. The aluminum trays feature corner holes that can be used as tie-down points to hold specimens securely, while the stainless steel trays have riveted bases to reduce specimen slipping. A black wax layer is included on specified aluminum trays, and a white wax layer is included on some stainless steel trays. The wax liner can be easily resurfaced by melting.
Accessories, sold separately, include black wax refills, steel dissection pins with a loop label holder, nickel-plated dissection T-pins, straight or bent stainless steel teasing needles with a plastic handle, and a dissection kit. The eight-piece dissection kit includes one pair of dissecting scissors, one pair of dissecting forceps, one scalpel with a No. 22 replaceable blade, one straight teasing needle, two curved teasing needles, one dropping pipet, one 6" transparent vinyl ruler, and six T-pins, all contained in a hard plastic case.
