Plastic Floating Spheres

These spheres float on the surface of the liquid in open tanks and thereby significantly reduce the exposed liquid surface area by up to 90%. A blanket of spheres dramatically diminishes objectionable fumes and odors and insulates heated liquid reducing evaporation and heat requirements. Ideal for plating tanks and similar open tank installations where the liquid surface can be covered with a blanket of spheres without impeding access to the tank for process purposes. Polypropylene is suitable for use in most known chemicals. High density polyethylene has better chemical resistance to certain compounds like oil and other hydrocarbons and is less likely to stress crack at low temperatures than polypropylene.
