It contains silver ion antimicrobial technology to guard against bacteria such as E. coli, listeria, salmonella, legionella, MRSA, campylobacter, and pseudomonas. The antimicrobial technology is especially useful where there is infrequent use of fluids in warm conditions. The antimicrobial properties of the tubing are designed to prevent the growth of organisms that can occur when using an unprotected product, such as growth-based discoloration and odors. CLEARFLO Ag-47 offers antibacterial performance to ISO 22196:2007 (JIS Z 2801). Unlike some products, CLEARFLO Ag-47 is 100% protected with the effective additive Silver-Magnesium-Aluminium-Phosphorus Complex. This is present throughout the tube and not only on the interior, offering you protection on all surfaces. The active ingredients in CLEARFLO Ag-47 will have no detrimental effect on yeasts used for brewing and will have no negative impact on the taste or flavor of products passed through it. Well suited for food and beverage applications, including non-fatty aqueous, milk, and alcoholic beverages (below 20% ABV).
