This carboy is available with and without a polypropylene spigot, making it convenient for storage and dispensing of aqueous solutions or for fermentation. Since there are no ribs in the design, the carboy has smooth internal and external sides that prevent yeast or bacteria from adhering to the product walls. The carboy is taste- and odor-free, stain-resistant, and has excellent gas barrier properties that help prevent oxidation and spoilage. Each carboy comes with the following accessories: 2-Polypropylene screw closures (one with a hole that accepts a #10 stopper, one without), 1-#10 silicone rubber stopper with a hole, and 1-EPDM O-ring that inserts into the screw closure for additional leak protection.
