These actuator and valve sets consist of a PS Series Actuator and a TBH Series True Union Ball Valve.
The PS Series actuators feature a robust aluminum body with a three-layer epoxy/urethane coating for superior corrosion and abrasion resistance to handle harsh environments. With a lightweight, extremely compact design, the PS Series also allows for ease of installation in tight spaces and less line weight where it is critical. Internally, the PS Series employs a scotch yoke design, resulting in less friction and longer actuator life. Due to the scotch yoke design, the operating torque profile closely matches the torque profile of mating valves; this results in a smaller volume & size assembly when attached to the valve. The PSD version is a double-acting air-to-air operation, while the PSS version is a single-acting, fail-safe air-to-spring operation.
A new generation of thermoplastic floating ball valves, the TBH Series features a low-maintenance design with System2™ Sealing Technology. The System2™ Sealing Technology utilizes the upstream seat as a backup to the downstream seat and enhances the sealing of the downstream seat. This ensures a longer life cycle and performance of the valve vs. conventional seat designs.
