This actuator has a glass-filled polypropylene housing for superior corrosion resistance and is made for light-duty applications. The thermoplastic Nema 4/4X enclosure can stand up to harsh environmental and corrosive conditions. This actuator is the best choice for true union valves up to 2", where a manual override is not required, and control options are not needed. It comes standard with a motor brake for precise control of the actuation cycle and one auxiliary limit switch, which permits control of a remote electrical device. A thermal overload circuit protects the UL/CSA-listed motor from burnout and overheating. Designed for true union ball valves, it has a 90° unidirectional, non-reversing rotation. The 21009 EAU129 actuator is for the 1/2” to 2” TBH series valves. Additional options are available; contact us for a quote. If ordering 21009 to go with a TBH valve, a mounting kit must be added at the same time as the valve and actuator. TW series valves include the price of the mounting kit, but the valve and actuator must be ordered at the same time to eliminate the additional cost of the mounting kit.
