These vertical mount models are typically shipped Normally Closed (NC) in dry condition and can be changed in the field by simply removing the clip and flipping the float. An ohmmeter or continuity tester can be used to verify switch setting and operation by connecting the meter to the leads, and with the float hanging down on the clip, check the meter. If the meter indicates a Short or Closed Circuit, the switch is set normally closed and will open on rising liquid. Other styles & materials are available, call us for a quote.
