Gemini Dual Containment® Tanks are an excellent choice for safe storage of chemicals and other products where a Secondary Containment Tank system is required. These tanks are durable, heavy-duty, and unaffected by the sun's ultraviolet rays or other environmental conditions, making them perfect for indoor or outdoor use. The tough material provides superior chemical resistance to acids, caustics, sodium hypochlorite, and biocides and handles aggressive applications that stainless steel will not. The “tank-in-a-tank” design, or double wall tank, provides a solution for storing and dispensing a wide range of chemicals and is easy to move without heavy equipment, offering years of maintenance-free service. The tanks are designed with a pump mounting surface (rated for pumps up to 240 lbs.), a twist lid, and 2-2" FNPT spin well fittings, one of which can become a secondary tank leak detection port for an optional leak detection alarm (sold separately). The pump suction connection allows for the quick and easy installation of a pump suction line with a foot valve; once installed, the tank contents are sealed from the outside environment. The integral mouse door, molded directly into most Gemini models, is a recessed mouse door that allows for the inexpensive installation of an optional dual wall bulkhead fitting for flooded suction and bottom fill applications (fittings sold separately). All tanks meet or exceed secondary containment regulations set under EPA 49 CFR. XLPE tanks are for harsh chemicals; they are not FDA/NSF/ANSI certified and are unsafe for drinking water. Tanks are also available by special order in XLPE 1.5 specific gravity; contact us for a quote.
