This improved diaphragm valve has an increased nominal pressure rating (compared to the previous T4 Series model), a torque limiter that prevents overturning of the handwheel and protects the diaphragm, and a fully open position limit stop that prevents the valve from sticking even when it is fully open for a more extended period. The ergonomically shaped non-slip handwheel can be operated quickly and safely with one hand and secured against unintentional operation using a padlock. The visual position indicator provides reliable information on the valve opening status at any time, and the color-coded labeling inserts enable quick and easy identification. Other features of the valves include embedded and recessed nuts, an optimized diaphragm contour, full body cavity drain position markings, a pollution-repellent design, and an easy maintenance bayonet connection of the diaphragm.
