Low volume sanitary maintenance pumps are for detergents, waxes, alkalis, and water, as well as low-volume pumping of acid and petroleum products. The siphon pump functions as a lift pump, but it will operate as a siphon with the handle fully extended, providing the source is higher in elevation than the receptacle. NOTE: Sanitary maintenance pumps are only for use in commercial Non-Farm Non-Dairy environments where personal protective equipment is required, and OSHA regulations are enforced by management.
