Compared to rigid pipe, this PEX pipe has a faster installation with the flexibility to bend around corners, reducing the number of connection points and thus reducing cost, time, and potential leak points. The freeze-resistant pipe can expand slightly if frozen and contract when thawed and is approved for water service lines and burial applications, including being buried under concrete. The purple color meets the color code requirements of national and state code bodies to identify reclaimed water lines. Use with SharkBite® EvoPEX™, SharkBite® Universal push-to-connect (ASSE 1061), plastic barb (ASTM F2159), and brass barb (ASTM F1807) fittings.
