The Ultra-Sidewinder Cable Protection System® is an innovative solution to cover and protect cords, cables, wires, and hoses across a floor. Perfect for warehouses, offices, trade shows, concerts, and more, this unique floor cable cover helps to prevent dangerous tripping and fire hazards. The articulating pieces offer a flexible design, allowing the system to easily turn corners and make curves to adapt to the room's layout while maintaining a flat profile. The affordable system is UV-resistant and can be used indoors or outdoors. Because of the modular design and segmented construction, the length of the system is fully customizable from 1-1/2" to any custom length desired (sold in standard sizes, which can be combined). The simple snap-in assembly requires no tools or cutting, making it easy to reconfigure, repair, and replace targeted segments. Cords and cables can also be left in the system for portability or left in place indefinitely. The lightweight plastic design saves on shipping and makes handling, assembly, and installation easy. Support ribs provide outstanding weight-bearing capacity, allowing vehicles with pneumatic tires to safely drive over cords, hoses, and cables (steel or solid rubber tires may cause damage). An optional ramp, sold separately, is available for the medium- and large-sized Ultra-Sidewinders. The durable textured polymer, non-skid surface ramp meets all requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and can be placed on top of an installed Ultra-Sidewinder. The black and yellow color of the cord protection system also provides an additional "safety tape" type visual warning.
