The ProCon® R7 Series with Nexus® has been engineered for ruggedness, longevity, and accuracy, featuring a choice between gold and platinum electrodes for enhanced accuracy, unequaled durability, and reliability. This ORP sensor is an excellent choice for various process media applications, including process control, water quality, sanitization and neutralization systems, effluent monitoring, pool and spa control, aquatic animal systems, and cooling towers. All measurement functions are combined in one compact body with a measuring electrode, temperature sensor, and inner reference chamber. The 4-20mA 2-wire or 4-wire (4-wire is designed for use with a ProCon® controller only) output options simplify calibration and communication with remote displays and controllers. Advanced electronic circuitry stores ORP data for automatic sensor recognition and trouble-free calibration when connected to a ProCon® controller. The solid Nexus® reference extends sensor life and protects against poisoning ions, eliminating the need for ongoing maintenance or cleaning due to fouling or film buildup. The Nexus® non-porous advanced KCI-infused polymer provides a faster response time to changing ORP values since no junction is required. The gold R7C sensor is excellent for complex, highly acidic, and reducing environments (cyanide), while the platinum R7G sensor is ideal for general process, high oxidation, chlorinated (pools, spas), and potable water applications.
