These pumps for buckets and drums offer quick and easy pumping and provide filtration to condition lubricants and prevent expensive equipment failure and downtime. They include a gas- and oil-resistant hose with brass fittings and a hose latch on the head to keep the fittings and cap off the ground. The pumps seal to the bucket or drum to prevent spills and contamination and can pump five gallons in approximately 2-1/2 minutes, even through a filter. Static-dissipating filter pumps are used where static discharge can be harmful or fatal. When used properly, the pump should dissipate static electricity safely through one of two grounding methods. The hose is the primary grounding method, with an internal grounding wire soldered to the fittings on both ends of the hose. The second grounding method is the external 4' grounding wire with an alligator clip. An A10 hooked stainless steel filling spout with a ball valve shut-off and cap is included. Note: This pump should not be used with gasoline or other flammable fluids. Accessories like replacement filters, filter assemblies, and male and female quick disconnects are sold separately.
