MIL-SPEC nylon Gromstrip is an extruded U-channel that covers and protects sharp edges. The nylon material has a higher operating temperature and better dielectric constant than polyethylene and is used where abrasion resistance is needed. It can be cut to any desired length and inserted into various holes, fitting snugly and securely. Gromstrip is ideal for preventing fraying and damage to wires passing through metal edges. The continuous serrations are excellent for acute angles or challenging applications. For angles less than 90°, it's recommended to miter the two outside edges for a better fit.
