The Grit Guard® Washboard works with the Grit Guard® Bucket Insert to separate the grit from the mitt. Like its sister product, the Bucket Insert, the Washboard has no flat surfaces for collecting dirt or grit. Contaminants are extracted from cleaning tools while rubbing them on the downward stroke against the Washboard, and gravity causes the dirt to settle to the bottom of the bucket. Using the Washboard and Bucket Insert together ensures a clean, scratch-free wash every time.
