Living hinge is a continuous, coextruded thermoplastic hinge combining the toughness RPVC wings with a polyester thermoplastic hinge membrane for complete flexibility and long life. Designed for easy assembly by mechanical fastening or gluing, this hinge has been tested for over 1,000,000 flexes without failure or fatigue. Compared to metal hinges, plastic hinges are lightweight, non-corrosive, less expensive, less noisy, and have a greater range of movement. The hinges are used in a variety of applications, including sneeze guards, desk separators, dividers, supermarket food bin covers, store displays, aircraft storage doors, and home cabinetry.
