The operation of this valve is simple, direct, and flow actuated. An all-plastic check disc or float, wholly contained within the unit, moves up to close air vents and permits free flow as the liquid passes through the device. When the flow stops, the disc automatically seals itself to prevent back-siphonage in the vertical line while opening the horizontal line to the atmosphere.
