Float Valve with clear reservoir assembly commonly used in ice machines and for cold water use is similar in size and shape to existing units on the market so it can be used as a replacement unit without modifications in many cases. Advance design allows for easy installation and service. It is also used in swamp coolers and swimming pool equipment. Valve inlet comes with Jaco tubing compression nut for 1/4" OD plastic tubing. This unit is NSF 169 and 61 listed. Tank is made from Tritan, float from HDPE, seal from Santoprene®, and standard valve is made of approved PVC. Flow is .34 GPM @ 40PSI and .46 GPM @ 60 PSI. Dimensions are 6" long X 2.5" wide outer flange to outer flange and 4" height bottom of tank to top of lid.How it works: 1/4" OD tubing is connected to the inlet of the float valve. From the bottom of the tank, 1/2" ID tubing or 1/2" pipe is used to connect the float valve reservoir to a remote tank. The water in the two tanks will remain the same level and the float valve will replace any make up water needed.
