How do I know my information & credit cards are secure?

There are two important ways this site secures your data:

  1. Our site is protected by an industry-standard SSL with RSA encryption, meaning all traffic and personal data sent between your device and our servers is encrypted end-to-end.
  2. Credit cards are not kept on file at U.S. Plastic. All credit card information is sent directly to our service provider, who encrypts and tokenizes the credit card information. By using this system, you can rest assured that your card numbers are protected while we reference them by token-based aliases only. The service provider securely holds the cards, and we never retain the full number and cannot retrieve it from the processor. Our access to the token alias allows us to see only the card alias, the last 4 digits of the card, and the expiration date. We maintain PCI compliance through quarterly and yearly PCI evaluations.
